Homemade Delicacies - Puto cheese and Leche Flan


Busy day again.. I need to finish packing all these delicious and mouth watering delicacies.

Homemade Delicacies

I want to share with you the secret ingredients and the procedure for these homemade delicacies. For those who love to cook or love to experiment in cooking. You can try this at home... I'm sure you'll like it.



MOUTH WATERING LECHE FLAN

 

 

For Leche Flan

Ingredients are:

1. Egg = 30 pcs.
2. Evaporated Milk = 2 cans (370 mL) 
3. Condensed Milk = 2 cans (300 mL)
4. White Sugar = 1/4 Kg

Others:

1. Steamer



2. Leche Flan Molder (atleast 7 pcs)
  
  

PROCEDURE (Caramel Syrup)
Put 1 tablespoon of white sugar to each molder and placed it on top of a stove at low fire mode, one at a time. Let the sugar turns into liquid caramel having a light brown color then spread the caramel evenly into the molder. Once achieved, let it cool down for about 5 minutes.

PROCEDURE (Custard)
Separate the yolk from egg white, we are going to use only the egg yolks. Place the egg yolks in a mixing bowl then pour in the evaporated milk, condensed milk and the remaining white sugar and mix it well. Pour in the mixture in each molder (with caramel), then placed it in a steamer and wait for about 45 minutes to 1 hr. After steaming, separate it on the steamer and let the temperature cool down before placing it in a fridge.

SPECIAL PUTO CHEESE



For Special Puto cheese

Ingredients are as follows:

1. All Purpose Flour = 1Kg
2. Butter = 225g
3. cheese sliced into strips
4. Egg = 5 pcs.
5. Powdered milk = 2 Cups
6. Baking powder = 4 Tbsp
7. White sugar = 1/2 Kg
8. Water = 4 1/2 cups.

Others:

1. Steamer

2. Paper cups (atleast 46 pcs)
 

3. Puto cups (atleast 46 pcs)

PROCEDURE:

In a mixing bowl mix flour, powdered milk, sugar and baking powder. In a separate mixing bowl, beat all 5 eggs, add water and butter then mix it well. Then pour it in the first mixing bowl (flour, powdered milk, sugar and baking powder) and mix it well. After mixing well all the ingredients, you are now ready to put into the puto cups (with paper cups). Pour only 3/4 of the cup and put the cheese on top. Place it in the steamer and let it cooked for about 13 minutes. And you're done.

  1. 1 tbsp na baking powder lng ba talaga to? kasi i always made puto i've try lots of recipe dn parang may kulang pa rin d i ka gaya dito looks perfect.tyaka after mixing the ingredients lulutoin bah to agad2 or e rest pa sandali yong mixture?
